I am very pleased with this holster. I purchased one for a Taurus 605 and it now offers me a stable holster to carry my revolver daily and comfortably when I want a change from a semi-auto. I have many holsters from many companies. When you research a quality holster for a wheel gun it becomes a bit more challenging because many kydex manufacturers don’t offer high end options if any at all. I have purchased a different brand holster for my Taurus 856 and, while a decent holster, is not comfortable to carry all day long because it’s sharp edges begin to dig in eventually. I first purchased a leather holster for my 605 and it’s just okay. It doesn’t offer easy draw and definitely becomes an issue re-holstering because it collapses behind my belt. I researched for quite some time and found ANR Designs. I knew nothing about this company other than what I read. My research kept bringing me back to this website. I finally decided to place the order. These holsters are not inexpensive, necessarily, but I was willing to wait and see if I was going to receive what I paid for. It took at least five to six weeks to receive because I chose a custom color. When I did receive it and opened it up I was impressed and very hopeful. Initially, the kydex color is great. Very crisp and clean. The holster is fabricated very nicely with well rounded edges and smooth tooling. The firearm fits perfectly and the holster retention is adjustable to my liking. I have carried my 605 in this holster for three weeks now and absolutely love it. It’s very comfortable all day long. I included the claw attachment when I ordered which I almost do automatically with any new holster. I would rather have it than not and decide how it’s going to work for me. This claw has a thick pad. When tightened behind a belt it draws the firearm in very nicely. However, on top of being a wheel gun behind a belt the claw really added quite a bulge for me. I was concealing the weapon itself but the large bulge was what I considered a different give-away I was carrying. My solution was to simply remove the pad and leave the claw attachment. It still draws the weapon in nicely but leaves less of a bulge at the belt. I also included the metal belt clip which I’m very happy with. With this clip the holster is gripped tight on the belt and allows for a secure draw. Because it’s kydex re-holstering is a breeze. I have a favorite holster company I’ve used many times. They don’t offer holsters for wheel guns. Now I have another company to add as a favorite. I will definitely consider ANR Design for future purchases. I may come back a purchase one for my 856. I can easily recommend them to others. Just be prepared to be patient and you’ll receive a great holster for your firearm.
