WINCHESTER MODEL 1885 HIWALL MUSKET WITH SCARCE TAKE-DOWN FEATURE.

2nd Model.   .22 long rifle caliber, 28″ barrel with scarce take-down feature and barrel mounted military type tangent sight.  Blue overall with the barrel retaining nearly all of the original blue.  The frame flaked and now a smooth gray gun metal color.  Full length walnut forend and buttstock remain in excellent showing only some light handling marks with the original oil finish intact.   Excellent bright bore.
