REV WAR 2ND MODEL BROWN BESS CONTRACT OFFICER’S MUSKET BY “KETLAND”

.75 caliber, 42″ barrel secured by four wedges. Full length stock with flat brass sideplate and brass wrist escutcheon. Beautiful convex lock and hammer marked “KETLAND & CO” in script. The stock bears the markings “Y C 8” whick indicates the Yorkshire Light Infantry. In superb original condition with very crisp lock markings and excellent stock free of damage or repairs. Unpolished brass mounts.
