FRENCH / MAUSER M71 DAUDETEAU CONVERSION FOR THE URUGAYUAN GVMNT. (DOVITIS RIFLE)

6.5X53.3 mm caliber, 31″ Lebel barrel.  Mauser model 71 single shot bolt action.   Full length stock with ramrod channel on the left side.   Converted at the St. Denis Arsenal in France.  The original Mauser 71 sling swivels have been upgraded at the time of conversion as well.  The receiver ring bears the correct St. Denis markings.  The barrel and receiver retain nearly all of the arsenal blue, excellent wood with only some very slight handling marks.  Even the brass triggerguard has a beautiful mustard patina.  Mint bore.  Bolt and receiver have matching serial numbers.  Very Very scarce
