This “wing” presses against the inside of your belt which forces the grip of the firearm in towards the body. This reduces printing and conceals the firearm more. These holsters are designed to work with the Tactical Development ProLedge thumb rest incorporated into the Streamlight TLR7 Sub weapon light. Additionally you can add a ProLedge to your holster order if you do not already have one.
