.44 cal., 8″ round barrel with loading lever located underneath. Six shot percussion cylinder with the scene roll engraved. Three screw casehardened receiver and walnut grip bearing the U.S. inspector’s cartouche. The barrel showing generous blue, the frame having much of the original casehardened finish fading. Nice grips showing wear with both cartouches visible. Nice bore, crisp cylinder scene. The action is tight and the brass has a mellow patina. All matching except the wedge. Wedge screw a replacement.
