U.S. SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1911 WW I. SERVICE PISTOL

.45 a.c.p. caliber, 5″ barrel, finished blue with checkered wood grips.   The right side of the slide showing the eagle and marked “MODEL OF 1911. U.S. ARMY”.   The left side marked “SPRINGFIELD ARMORY/ U.S.A.”.   “UNITED STATES PROPERTY”  stamped on the receiver.  In superb original condition retaining much of the original blue.  Excellent grips and mint bore.   Very scarce.
