WWI U.S. SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1911 SERVICE AUTO-PISTOL

.45 acp caliber, 5″ barrel, finished blue overall with arsenal original checkered wooden grips. The left of the slide shows “SPRINGFIELD ARMORY/ U.S.A.” and the bursting bomb at the rear. The left side and the receiver is stamped “UNITED STATES PROPERTY” along with the bursting bomb on the receiver. The right side of the slide has the standing Eagle. Correct two tone magazine with crimped floorplate and lanyard ring. In excellent original condition retaining most of the blue, nice grips and mint bore. Mechanical functioning is perfect. All parts matching, inspection marks on the barrel and slide stop.
